Perfecting and follow-up visits are scheduled at 4-8 week intervals. Be prepared for the color intensity of your new procedure to be significantly larger, sharper, brighter or darker than what is expected for the final outcome. This transition is 1-2 weeks for brows and eyeliner and 6 weeks for lips. One should allow a minimum of l month healing time for significant events.

Any tweezing or waxing should be done at least 2 days prior to procedure and electrolysis at least 5 days prior. Do not resume any method of hair removal for at least 2 weeks.

Lip Procedures

If you have any history of cold sores/fever blisters/herpes simples (ever in your life), you will be required to contact your physician to obtain a prescription medication to possibly prevent such outbreaks. Many physicians prescribe medication that you start 2 days prior and 4 days after micropigmentation. Avoid long lasting lipstick or lip stain for 1 week prior to lip procedure.

You must postpone micropigmentation procedures if:

You are pregnant or nursing.

You have used Accutane treatment for acne within 1 year.

You are considering laser vision correction surgery. Permanent makeup services should only be performed 2 months prior or 3 months following such surgery.
